Today the need of security camera has increased due to the unexpected environment everywhere. The activities of theft, murder etc. has increased a lot. Even in banks at few places hidden camera is required as the security cameras are visible to everyone. The camera systems should be applied in all big places like famous temples, museums, etc. which can be the targeted places for the terrorists or people who want to create new sense everywhere.

The not very recent but the case which shook the whole Mumbai was the 26/11 case, the terrorist attack on the grand hotel TAJ. Security cameras captured the image of the terrorists attacking the TAJ, but the records were being destroyed by the terrorists in the attack to avoid recognition. The hidden camera played a major role here in capturing images.

One of main culprit of the attack was being arrested and taken into custody; his crime was proved strongly with the image which the hidden camera captured. Many other cases are there where the security cameras proved itself as a boon to catch the culprit. The cameras are a compulsion to keep a watch on the activities of people, like in malls the cameras help the securities to catch the eve teasers who are present everywhere. It helps in keeping watch over the staff, their working, people entering the shop, people making the bill payment etc. it helps in reducing the chances of theft. Many cases of misuse of the hidden camera came in highlight these days, the cameras were being placed in girl’s trial room and their images were being captured. Later these girl’s were being blackmailed by the culprits and were being asked to pay an amount or they were being physically harassed by the culprits. It is the biggest of the misuse of the camera, after the complaints of many girls these cameras were being detected and destroyed.

Hidden and security camera though are a compulsion at many places like ATM’s, banks, temples etc. many fraudulent people are being caught red handed with the help of this cameras. It is well said that using a technology properly depends on the individual using the technology. These individuals can make technology a boon or can turn it into a curse. But to avoid any troublesome act in your environment it is a necessary to have these cameras, as a proper watch can be kept with the help of this.Technology can make things easier if properly being utilized as many difficult things are now possible with help of new technologies in different sectors. Technologies like these cameras are beneficial in business sectors, medical sector, keeping a check on the security of famous places, etc .the technology requires being in right hands for their better use.
